I’m looking at a potential new daily tomorrow. For now here’s a teaser. (If you know what it is, please don’t spoil it.)

If that’s what I think it is, those have aged really well.

I gave up somewhere around the Benzeses when I realized that they might not show cars that are on hold.
I now know much more about sedan trunk designs than I had ever intended, although I still don’t know what it is, although it’s slightly Lexus-y

The joys of being a service advisor at a dealership with a wide variety of vehicles: I’m fairly confident I have it figured out, thanks to the covered trunk hinge assemblies, shape of the bumper, and lining of the trunk.

You’re right about them not showing held cars. And you have the country of origin correct.

They’ve aged much better than their larger sibling of the same vintage and they’ve only just gotten the successor looking good. Hopefully that reveals enough.

I know exactly what it is. Based on the plastic trim and the hinge mechanism alone. Although the larger sibling still doesn’t look bad compared to some more modern offerings.
